September 21–26, 2026 · Beijing, China
In the golden days of early autumn, as fruits ripen on the bough, a five-member delegation from the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Center for Agricultural Products Quality Assessment” (ФГБУ «ЦОК АПК») of the Russian Federation—organized by the Russia-China Education Association and hosted by Mingyang International Education (MIE)—arrived in Beijing from September 21 to 26 to attend a six-day specialized training program on “Pesticide Safety and Risk Control of Pesticide Residues in Agricultural Products” at the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences.
From expert lectures and laboratory visits to China-Russia dialogues and cultural experiences, the six-day itinerary was intensive and fulfilling, adding a solid chapter to the exchange and cooperation between China and Russia in the field of agricultural quality and safety.
01 Opening Ceremony: China and Russia Join Hands to Launch the Training Journey
On the morning of September 21, the opening ceremony was held at the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences. The venue’s main screen displayed the bilingual (Chinese-Russian) theme “Pesticide Safety and Risk Control of Pesticide Residues in Agricultural Products—Training Program.” Representatives from both sides delivered opening remarks, extending a warm welcome to the delegation.

Hosted by the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, the training program was built around five modules—pesticide registration management, toxicological evaluation, risk assessment, and residue detection and monitoring—with professional Russian interpretation provided throughout to ensure barrier-free communication.
02 Six Specialized Lectures: Covering the Full Chain of Pesticide Safety
During the training, six experts from the Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, China Agricultural University, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the Agro-Environmental Protection Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs delivered six high-level specialized lectures to the delegation:
① Current Status of Pesticide Registration Management
Zhao Ercheng, Research Fellow · Deputy Director, Institute of Plant Protection, Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences
② Current Status of Pesticide Toxicological Evaluation Research
Qiu Lihong, Professor · College of Science, China Agricultural University
③ Advances in Pesticide Environmental and Health Risk Assessment Technology
Geng Yue, PhD · Agro-Environmental Protection Institute, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs
④ Current Status and Prospects of Pesticide Environmental Toxicology Research
Liu Xin’gang, Research Fellow · Institute of Plant Protection, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences
⑤ Detection Methods for Pesticide Residues in Agricultural Products
Ping Hua, Senior Laboratory Technician · Institute of Quality Standards, Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences
⑥ Current Status of Risk Monitoring and Assessment of Pesticide Residues in Agricultural Products
