Zhong Zhengchuan

He was born in Malaysia in 1945 and is originally from Meixian, Guangdong. He is currently the president of the Malaysian Ink Painting Association, the director of Zhong Zhengchuan Painting Institute, a professor at the National University of Malaysia, and the president of the Malaysian Association of Calligraphy and Arts. His works have been collected by many heads of state, dignitaries, ambassadors, and national art museums, including the National Art Museum of Malaysia, the National Welcome Hotel of Malaysia, the Chinese Academy of Arts, the Qi Baishi Memorial Hall, the Zhang Daqian Memorial Hall, the Korean Museum of Culture and Art, the National Museum of Education in Taiwan, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir, the current Prime Minister of Malaysia, Abdullah, the former leader of North Korea, General Kim Il Sung, and the Chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, Kim Jong Il. In 2007, he was invited by the Ministry of Culture of China to hold the "Zhong Zhengchuan Ink Painting Exhibition" at the China Painting Institute in Beijing. 2005, he was invited by the Ministry of Culture of China to participate in the "2005 Second China Beijing Biennale of Fine Arts". 2004, he won the Korea Asian Art Award, 2005, he won the In 1997, he was invited by the Art Department of the Chinese Ministry of Culture to participate in the World Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition. 1993, he was invited by the Chinese Ministry of Culture to hold a solo exhibition at the Chinese Painting Institute. Zhong Zhengchuan's paintings were published by the People's Art Publishing House (Beijing) in 1998.
