Zeng Xiang Wen

Born in 1955, is Singapore's homegrown master potter who has been practicing ceramic arts since the 1990s.
Originally trained in pottery at the Hwi Yoh Dragon Kiln in Singapore, Boon had later pursued further training in Melbourne andparticipated in several exchanges with China,Japan and Taiwan.
Traditional forms with rich colour glazing is Boon's forte, a result of years of experimentation and honing his skills at wheel throwingand glazing.
Boon's ceramic art are timeless pieces reminiscent of a porcellaneous fineness which is rare in the field,and unique to localpotters with Chinese influences in Singapore. The lightness and spherical curves of his works are testament to his mastery of the craft.
